The anti-slip really works! No more sliding and slipping in warrior and downdog poses, perfect grip! I use it on top of the gym mat instead of a mat towel. Despite how thin it is, it’s quite heavy compare to a cheap plastic mat.

This is a great mat. It does need to be a little damp for the “stick” to happen but that’s expected for this kind of mat. The design is beautiful and great quality. It’s quite thin so if you have sensitive knees this is probably not the mat for you.

I LOVE this mat. It’s thin but supportive and really soft. The design is beautiful and makes me happy to use it. Very grippy when your hands get sweaty and it comes with a carry strap too.

This mat is phenomenal. I’ve given it a full year before leaving a review, and it has absolutely nailed it. I do hot yoga three times a week, and before getting this mat I hated it – I get really, really, REALLY sweaty, and I’d always just slip and slide all over the place. Even a yoga towel didn’t cut it – I’d drench it, and it would slip too.This has completely solved all those problems. It’s super comfy and pretty and fluffy – but as soon as you sweat, you stick to it. Like, properly stick. Even at the end of a class when it’s soaking (sorry) it still does the job. It’s also light, easy to roll, doesn’t take up much room and is easy to carry around. Also, while I do wash it I’ve found that even when I skip a couple of classes, it doesn’t smell. A year of sweat and its still going strong. Easily the best investment I’ve ever made in yoga accessories.

Very light weight and easy to travel with! It does not slip at all which is perfect for hot yoga! This is my first time trying a mat that is only 1mm. I feel much more grounded. I absolutely love the print I got! Definitely recommend!!!

I absolutely love this mat! I get compliments on it all the time. It folds and rolls up nicely, and lays flat without putting blocks or anything on it. It is a good length for me without hanging off the edges. It is a little heavier than it looks, but I don’t mind because it just makes it feel sturdier. It has never slid, and my hands and feet stay in place even when sweating.

I’ve had this mat about 2 months now and use it for regular hot yoga practice (about 3x per week). It looks just like new every time I wash and line dry it.As a add, I’m not a very sweaty yogi, so I use some water from my water bottle onto the front and back areas of the mat to increase my grip during practice.Once you’ve practiced on this Mat, you’ll never want to go back to using a yoga mat again. I also get tons of compliments on my mat at the studio. It’s both gorgeous and has a lovely feel to it. And it’s so much better than having to deal with a towel siding around during flows.I’m considering the travel size version mat for some upcoming work travel, as this Mat is definitely large and wouldn’t fit in a suitcase 🙂

I love this yoga mat!! Its a little too thin for my liking at times when I am doing more poses on my knees, though it is not terrible at all. I do hot yoga and this matt is the most grippy but soft mat I have ever owned. I am in love with it! Would 100% recommend. Though if you do have knee issues I would get the slightly thicker mat!

I absolutely love the Yvonne mats! I have had my combo mat for about 5yrs, my commuter mat for 2yrs and now this travel mat……they still look as vibrant as ever and the are in great condition. I very rarely go to class and not have at least 1 person comment on my mats. Very good quality, one of the first (If not the first) companies to make this style mat. I cannot do yoga with any other mat now. I don’t normally right reviews but if your questioning making a purchase with Yvonne then go for it! You will not regret it. This travel mat is designed in mind for the traveler. It’s the lightest and thinnest of the lot, if you want more padding for comfort then you could go for the thickest combo mat 🙂

I absolutely love this mat – I had recently fallen in love with Hot Yoga and was using my old mat and bath towels, and this was such an upgrade. Not only does it look amazing, it’s the perfect functionality and so light weight it’s easy to transport. I also find it easy to clean with a home-made solution and hosing down in the shower, and it always dries overnight. It came with a strap to transport it as well.

The texture is nice. And if you follow the instructions, spray a little water if you have dry skin. Then the mat is very nice to use and not slippery at all. It is on the thinner side and easy to carry. I would recommend if you need to travel with this mat.

I fly weekly and bring this on every trip. It folds great and dent permanently crease. The rubber on the bottom keeps it from sliding. I don’t do hot yoga, so I just wet my hands and feet before use.

When I first felt the surface of this mat, I thought, “Oh, no, it won’t work in any class other than Bikram! It’s too slick!” But I brought it with me to a Vinyasa class and was very pleasantly surprised. Good grip even when dry, excellent stability. Only caveat: it is pretty thin, so there’s not much cushioning. But if you’re looking for grip, stability, washabiity, and good looks, this is your mat!

Great travel mat! It is beautiful and light and barely takes up any space in the suit case. I have been using it on top of carpeted floor so it is nice and soft. I have owned multiple Yvonne mats, but this is my first travel mat from the company. I was not disappointed. Keep in mind, these mats are for travel and are thin for a reason.

Finally a travel mat that is foldable, light and on which you don’t slide all time during downward facing dog. Beautiful texture, nice grip if you are on wood floor. I have tried others before as manduka eko superlight travel mat but have to return it cause it was too slippery. If your hands sweat this mat is what you are looking for

I’ve been using this mat for the past 3 to four months and I could say, this mat is an excellent choice for a serious yoga practitioner, especially the one practicing hot yoga.This mat is thin and provides excellent surface for balancing poses because softer thicker mats will cause you to lose balance.It really activates when you start sweating and you will not slide on poses like crescent lunge, warrior one and two, triangle, extended side angle or wide legged forward bend.I received the other design by mistake, the one with the stripes, and that design improved my practice a lot because it provides excellent cues on where to place feet and hands in poses such as downward dog or the warrior one or two.I practice hot yoga almost every day and I love this mat. It’s very cool, it stands out and I get a lot of compliments about it.If in the beginning of your practice you slip a little, you just need to pour some water on it and rub it on the spots where you place your hands and feet and that immediately activates the non slip properties of the mat.Highly recommended. I love my new mat! I bought the travel version in the Sunset print. If you follow the suggestions by the shop, the mat will perform in both, a slower paced class (minimal sweating) and fast paced (lots of sweating). After I purchased, I received an email from the shop, explaining that if you mist the mat with water prior to starting your class, it will grip. It was going to be a meditative, restorative session, so I misted it and had NO SLIPPING! Then, I used it in a hot yoga setting and…again, NO SLIPPING. From what I understand, if you have dry hands and feet and try to use the mat while it is also dry, then that is when you will slip. I love the design, no more boring solid color mat for me:) I prefer to look down and see the water, sky, and mountain! The colors are soothing. I do wish it was just a mm or 2 thicker for a little more cushion for “Happy Baby” and other poses when knees or back are on the mat, but I hardly felt it was a significant enough concern to deduct a star. Overall, I’m extremely pleased, I’ll be watching this brand for a cool/nature design, full size mat with a little more cushion:)

the mat is light. the colors were as photographed. the attached towel is soft and feels luxurious. i wet my hands before using this in more intensive (not hot) yoga sessions and it does work well without slipping. I have since bought 2 of their yoga towels because I think they have shown that their products are of good quality.

I absolutely love this mat and can’t imagine my life without it now! There are only two small faults for me, which you can easily work around. Firstly, I sometimes need to dampen my hands with water to help fight slipping but not often. The other is that it is much thinner than other mats I’ve used, so don’t expect and cushion if you’re using this on hardwoods. I have seen some place this may on top of another to fix this. Seriously though, I smile constantly during my practice because the colors make me happy and I no longer slip during intense practices
