Love this mat! The design is beautiful and tranquil, I don’t find is slippery, it folds up to a nice size too! Pro tip for those with fur babies/pets: use a shower/window squeegee to remove fur. I have a house wolf that loves to lay on my mat!

Love love love this mat….I am a slippy and slidey yogi and really appreciate the towel like surface of this mat. I also appreciate, well love, the fact that my skin does not stick to the mat because of this surface as well! The only con I have is that they do not make a larger mat:)Again, my favorite yoga mat, love it. I love this mat! I actually just bought a new one same colour and design but the 4 mm thickness. The other one survived alot of use and washes and isn’t ruined yet. A little frayed on the edges but that’s because I would throw it in the dryer on low so it wouldn’t be wet forever. I just wanted a fresh one. Grippy after you get a bit sweaty. I use it as a statement peice in my room and keep it out all the time because it’s that pretty! Love these matts.

I love this mat for hot yoga! Previously I used a regular mat and a hot yoga towel and just wasn’t thrilled. So my husband got me this mat for Mother’s Day! Fantastic for use in hot yoga class. I use this as a towel over my regular mat and it really stays put. My hands and feet do not slip once they are sweaty. I can see how it might be slippery if you were not sweating at all.

I love the colors of my new Yvonne yoga mat. At first I thought there would be a towel included with this mat. But later realized that it was a mat for hot yoga classes and the towel material is built into the mat for when you sweat.I don’t do hot yoga and my hands and feet don’t sweat. So I was sliding on the nicely textured thick mat. So I just use a spray bottle with water and spray the front and back area of the mat where my feet and hands go before I begin my regular yoga practice. This works for me. The mat comes with a carrying strap. I find the mat a little on the bulky and heavier side for carrying. This was a present from my husband. This mat comes in a so many different colors and styles.My husband likes to do his pushups and planks on the mat as well. I haven’t really rated the mat for durability as I’ve only had it for a short while. It is washable but I haven’t tried that yet either and since it seems a lot heavier than my old mat, which wasn’t washable, I’m not sure if I’ll want to put it in my washing machine. I think this mat comes in a smaller size as well.All in all, I pretty much love the mat.

This is definitely the best yoga mat I ever had. I love it! I use it for hot yoga/bikram yoga and hot power yoga. The mat is soft, no odd smell like some of the other famous brand. The sweet can be easily absorbed. I would recommend all people doing hot yoga owning one!

I have had 4 classes on this mat now and I love it! I am a beginner yogi, only 2 months in now. I am not having the same issue as some others are stating with the mat being too slippery. I wonder if this is from yogis that practice much more complicated poses (handstands?) than I do. I have not had any trouble holding my downward dog, warrior poses or lunges. I do use my mat barefoot and in a room that’s kept at 73 degrees, I don’t excessively sweat but I have tested spraying the mat with water, it does grip better when wet but I have not had to do this for my practice yet. I love how soft the top feels and how easily I can transition into my positions. The design is gorgeous and I was as giddy as a kid on Christmas when I unrolled this beautiful mat. I will comment that the black comes off as more of a deep dark chocolate brown, it is so luxurious that I don’t mind it not being pitch black. I will buy another when the time is right, then I can leave one in the car for class and one at home for daily use!

This yoga mat costs a bit more than any other I’ve bought in the past, but it’s worth the price-hike.The design is stunning and subtle enough as not to distract from peaceful practise, and sets the right mood (for me at least). The top layer is beautifully grippy, and surprisingly grippy when sprayed lightly with water which is so helpful in stopping slipping during those trickier Asanas.I also love the anti-roll nature of the mat – it doesn’t matter how long it’s rolled up for, when you unroll it onto the floor the ends stay flat! This was a real issue with my old mat, and I’m glad I no longer have to do battle with a disobedient rubber rug while I’m also struggling with my peace of mind.I recommend to all my yoga buddies. I recommend to you too!

Stunning. I received this as a gift- and I couldn’t be happier. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality. Very grippy suede-like surface, not slippery. Once you start working out, it’s fine. Highly recommend to any yogi. Note- this pattern is so light and beautiful but it shows everything (dog hair, fuzz, dust, etc) so if that will bother you, I recommend going for one of the darker patterns.

Great mat has good grip is very dense and heavy feels like it should last a long time. Because of the density it is comfortable for floor postures and gives better stability for standing postures. With this mat you do not need a towel over the mat for hot yoga as it dose absorb sweet very well. Washes easily in the washing machine but still takes time to air dry.

I’ll admit it, I get sweaty hands and feet when I do yoga – and it’s not a bikram class. I’ve tried gym gloves – can be sore, and yoga towels – gets twisted under hands and feet when doing flows, so I researched to find a mat with a surface that would help me grip. This works well, and is super stylish. Some reviews say they wash theirs, but I’ve yet to try that and don’t want to ruin the mat if it doesn’t work! It’s not the cheapest – I spent many years denying the advantage of a mat over a one – but it’s been well worth it. I no longer slip and slide in my downward dog as my palms become sweatier than a public inquiry

I love these mats, I have 3. They are beautiful and totally non-slip. I take hot vinyasa flow classes 4 x a week so they get a bunch of use. I generally wait about 2-3 weeks and then toss them in the washer with dreft and air-dry. One tip, if you roll them up with the pattern side on the inside (you’ll see only the black rubber) it makes them dry better and they don’t get so stinky. I keep them in my car so I can choose a design depending on my mood. I haven’t ever owned a sticky mat, though, but I always see people who have those using a towel too, and that just looks annoying to me.

This mat is great for hot yoga! I’ve only used it once but the stickiness was perfect for a good grip but the surface of the mat is also smooth enough to allow for easy transitions between poses. The sweatier I got, the stickier the mat got. It does have a faint rubbery smell when your face is right against it but definitely tolerable and should go away after use. I didn’t find it too heavy to carry to class either. I would definitely recommend this mat for hot yoga.

GREAT yoga mat, purchased this as a middle ground between the Liforme mat and the cheaper mats as this ticked the middle price ground.Can highly recommend this mat – i LOVE having a patterned mat and the colours on this are really vibrant.The fabric of the mat surprised me…its almost a suede feel which is perfect for extra grip and doesn’t get slippy when i do hot yoga!
