I love the cushion and thickness of this mat. With that comes some weight and bulk so keep that in mind. I use it everyday in my home practice and it works beautifully. No slip at all. The finish is powdery soft and absorbs everything leaving dark spots from sweat, water (which dry quickly), lotion or any oil substance leaves a stain that must be cleaned. I used an alcohol based spray. Had I known the finish was so absorbent and hard to keep clean I would have purchased a dark color! Lol! Overall a great, high quality mat!

This mat is, hands down, the best yoga mat I’ve ever had. The grip is amazing, I haven’t slipped once, even slightly. I also haven’t needed to spray it at all when my hands and feet are dry. I’m very impressed and I highly recommend it. It’s quickly become my favourite yoga mat.

I practice bikram yoga once or twice a week and I can not be more pleased with this yoga mat, it is heavier than regular mats but the weight is barely noticeable and I have not experienced any of the issues that other people mention : it doesn’t get slippery and it remains flat. In terms of amount of sweat, I would say I’m a 6 in a scale from 1 to 10 so maybe that’s why it works so well for me.

I’ve had my Yvonne mat for over a year, and it’s held up better than any of the higher-priced, big name yoga mats. I do hot yoga daily, and unlike other brands, it has not developed worn areas and none of the top layer has flaked off. I give it a good wipe down with water or diluted essential oil after class, and I never roll the mat. I fold it loosely, keep it in the backseat of my car, and it dries out overnight with no lingering odor. Once in a while, I’ll rinse it down well in the shower and hang it out in the sun.

Mat seems very durable and I love the strap that comes with it which makes it very portable and easy to carry. My only complaint is the colors aren’t as vibrant as I was hoping for from the pictures.

I just received the combo mat so I can’t comment on how easy it is to clean, but I will definitely test it out in the washing machine after using it and then post a picture of it after washing it to see if it falls apart or wrecks my washing machine.What I can say is that it is visually stunning. The colours are absolutely beautiful and I love the bag and the hand towel from the same company.My daughter wanted to sleep on the yoga mat because the surface is so soft and soothing.

It’s beautiful, and the quality is very nice! It looks exactly like the photos. The bottom layer is a nice, thick rubber. The top layer is a soft fabric-y material. I do hot yoga 2-3 times/week, and I like this much better than throwing a towel over a regular mat. My feet don’t slide on this like they did before in triangle pose and a couple of those other poses. I’m afraid to put it in the washer, though, because I don’t know how it would hold up. I washed an old rubber mat in the washer once before, and it tore. So I’m playing it safe and rinsing this in the shower after every hot yoga class. Then I just hang it over the shower curtain rod to dry. So far so good!

Although it’s quite heavy and bit harder due to its thickness compared to my previous mats, Yvonne’s mat improved my workout in so many ways.I’m practicing asthanga and pilates at home on a daily basis. Sweating is granted, so I always had to use an extra layer of towel, it’s needless to say it wasn’t really stable. With the first moves I felt this will be something different, the plushy-like touch holds you exactly where you put your hands and feet. Every pose get instantly more precisely executed. I hadn’t worry about sweat drops anymore, the towel like material absorbs it right away and provides even better grip as well. Letting it dry for a few hours before rolling up is enough, I’m also willing to machine wash it on the next resting day, I can imagine it’s up for the challange.To sum it up, if you don’t have to carry your mat every day with you and you don’t mind if the surface is not from the soft kind, this is a great choice for your advanced sessions. The design and the quality totally worth every penny.

LOVE THIS MAT! The grippiest suede like material. Took ages looking at other mats and so pleased I picked this one in the end. Very light spray of water on hands or the mat and the grip is perfect.
