This mat is phenomenal. I’ve given it a full year before leaving a review, and it has absolutely nailed it. I do hot yoga three times a week, and before getting this mat I hated it – I get really, really, REALLY sweaty, and I’d always just slip and slide all over the place. Even a yoga towel didn’t cut it – I’d drench it, and it would slip too.This has completely solved all those problems. It’s super comfy and pretty and fluffy – but as soon as you sweat, you stick to it. Like, properly stick. Even at the end of a class when it’s soaking (sorry) it still does the job. It’s also light, easy to roll, doesn’t take up much room and is easy to carry around. Also, while I do wash it I’ve found that even when I skip a couple of classes, it doesn’t smell. A year of sweat and its still going strong. Easily the best investment I’ve ever made in yoga accessories.

I had to travel on business for a week and decided I didn’t want to miss my new yoga practice. This mat is perfect for this! I wouldn’t use it as my regular mat as the folding lines can be annoying, but it’s the bees knees for a hotel.

I used this mat on my trip to Hawaii, and I was pleasantly surprised! I was worried it wouldn’t lay flat because of the seams, but that wasn’t an issue at all. The mat lays flat, and I didn’t even notice the seams while practicing on the mat. The thickness was better than expected as well! I did some practicing on concrete and hard wood floors, and the mat gave more cushion than I thought it would. If I needed more cushion, I simply folded the mat over. I was worried the mat would not be sticky enough, but my feet didn’t slide at all. All I did was wipe the mat down with a wet rag before the first time I used it, and then I was good to go. Great price, easy to pack in a suitcase, and surprisingly good quality for a travel mat. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve had this mat for about a year now and it has turned out to be such a utility in my fitness arsenal. I tote it with me in my gym bag when I head to the community center for a workout. I take it to the park and I take it with me on trips. Good purchase. Mine didn’t come with a bag even though when I was browsing for this, I saw several review photos where it looked like the mat came with a carrying case. Mine simply folds down into a square that’s a little smaller in dimension than a letter size sheet of paper and thicker (obviously). Highly recommend for a portable yoga mat option.

Very light weight and easy to travel with! It does not slip at all which is perfect for hot yoga! This is my first time trying a mat that is only 1mm. I feel much more grounded. I absolutely love the print I got! Definitely recommend!!!

I started backpacking through Europe with this yoga mat since early August. It’s compact and durable, so far, no scratches or snapped threads. I use it almost everyday. It’s grip is solid, even more so than the thick mats. Yes, it is thin, but you get used to it pretty quickly. I even used it as a sleep pad on the floor during some days when the beds weren’t comfortable to sleep on. Highly recommend!

I bought this folding mat because it’s so much cleaner to use a folding mat instead of one that you roll up the part that has been on the floor onto the part you lie down on. Nice quality and pretty print. Happy with my purchase.

I went to Disney World for a week with nothing but a carry-on, and this mat was the best thing I packed besides sunblock. It’s also been on several beach trips. I love it so much I actually ordered a second one that’s now my daily practice mat. Thin, grippy, easy to clean, just fantastic! My favorite feature is that when it folds the side that’s been on the floor doesn’t touch the side that hasn’t. Seriously, if you’re looking for a travel mat, look no further.

I love my new mat! I bought the travel version in the Sunset print. If you follow the suggestions by the shop, the mat will perform in both, a slower paced class (minimal sweating) and fast paced (lots of sweating). After I purchased, I received an email from the shop, explaining that if you mist the mat with water prior to starting your class, it will grip. It was going to be a meditative, restorative session, so I misted it and had NO SLIPPING! Then, I used it in a hot yoga setting and…again, NO SLIPPING. From what I understand, if you have dry hands and feet and try to use the mat while it is also dry, then that is when you will slip. I love the design, no more boring solid color mat for me:) I prefer to look down and see the water, sky, and mountain! The colors are soothing. I do wish it was just a mm or 2 thicker for a little more cushion for “Happy Baby” and other poses when knees or back are on the mat, but I hardly felt it was a significant enough concern to deduct a star. Overall, I’m extremely pleased, I’ll be watching this brand for a cool/nature design, full size mat with a little more cushion:)

If you’re doing Yoga barefoot, this will take a second to get used to. At least for those of us who don’t have crusty feet. I found that my feet stuck to the mat a lot and would lift the mat whenever I tried to lift only my foot. This works great on carpeted surfaces but was a little harder to get used to on hardwood floors. Just keep in mind that this is very thin so if you’re using it for more than just your stretches (i.e, crunches etc;) that this will not be comfortable on your spine and tailbone on hardwood floor. High quality mat for the price but just take into consideration where you’re using it and get used to it sticking to your feet for a little while.

This is a good mat for use on carpet. It might be too thin for use on a hard floor. I especially like the folding pattern, which keeps one surface clean regardless of what is underneath (unlike rolls).
