It’s hard to find a good hot yoga mat (since Lululemon stopped making their version years ago) but this mat does the trick. You don’t need a yoga towel, it absorbs everything without getting very slippery. Its beautiful as well. Highly recommend.

I have been using this as a large mat on my computer desk. I have a mouse pad, but a mouse could work on this mat. Very nice and soft to rest your arms. This replaced another brand mat that was worn out an no long available. Note that I tried that mat for yoga and found it to slip more than a conventional mid grade sticky rubber surface mat

Perfect for hot/sweaty yoga!! I love it but I wouldn’t recommend it for regular temperature practice as it is annoyingly slippery when it’s dry. Spraying water on the mat or on your hand can do the trick for a couple minutes though but I’d definitely say if you’re not planning on using it for hot yoga strictly maybe this is not the mat you need. I love that it’s machine washable and that it doesn’t have a strong chemical smell like other mats. It’s kind of heavy but it’s totally worth it considering you don’t have to cary/buy a towel and also considering the thickness of it. It offers great support.

Amazing mat! Exactly as described.I do yoga in a studio that keeps it at 95 degrees and I sweat a ton! This mat is perfect, I no longer have to worry about slipping and I’m able to hold my poses more effectively vs always having to mess with a towel to wipe my mat or worse carry a mat and mat towel each time.I have the commuter mat‚ I also love the design of the mat. I would highly recommend it.Ps I also looked at other more we’ll know brands and considered giving this mat a chance and I’m so glad I did!! If you sweat a ton during yoga this is the perfect mat!!!!

I love this mat and this brand. They make the best products. This mat is perfect for hot yoga but works just fine in a normal temperature room. You can even wash it in the washing machine if you don’t want to use a towel on the mat!

I love this mat! This is my second Mat from Yvonne. My first was their now discontinued roses mat. I still use that mat at home so I know it is very durable and long lasting! This mat was purchased to bring with me to classes. I am a novice so I haven’t tried a hot yoga class yet but it is great for my restorative and beginner sessions. I love the pattern and the textured non slip surface. Bonus, it comes with an easy to carry strap for walking to and from the gym.

This is definitely the best yoga mat I ever had. I love it! I use it for hot yoga/bikram yoga and hot power yoga. The mat is soft, no odd smell like some of the other famous brand. The sweet can be easily absorbed. I would recommend all people doing hot yoga owning one!

I have had 4 classes on this mat now and I love it! I am a beginner yogi, only 2 months in now. I am not having the same issue as some others are stating with the mat being too slippery. I wonder if this is from yogis that practice much more complicated poses (handstands?) than I do. I have not had any trouble holding my downward dog, warrior poses or lunges. I do use my mat barefoot and in a room that’s kept at 73 degrees, I don’t excessively sweat but I have tested spraying the mat with water, it does grip better when wet but I have not had to do this for my practice yet. I love how soft the top feels and how easily I can transition into my positions. The design is gorgeous and I was as giddy as a kid on Christmas when I unrolled this beautiful mat. I will comment that the black comes off as more of a deep dark chocolate brown, it is so luxurious that I don’t mind it not being pitch black. I will buy another when the time is right, then I can leave one in the car for class and one at home for daily use!

This yoga mat costs a bit more than any other I’ve bought in the past, but it’s worth the price-hike.The design is stunning and subtle enough as not to distract from peaceful practise, and sets the right mood (for me at least). The top layer is beautifully grippy, and surprisingly grippy when sprayed lightly with water which is so helpful in stopping slipping during those trickier Asanas.I also love the anti-roll nature of the mat – it doesn’t matter how long it’s rolled up for, when you unroll it onto the floor the ends stay flat! This was a real issue with my old mat, and I’m glad I no longer have to do battle with a disobedient rubber rug while I’m also struggling with my peace of mind.I recommend to all my yoga buddies. I recommend to you too!
