Perfect for hot/sweaty yoga!! I love it but I wouldn’t recommend it for regular temperature practice as it is annoyingly slippery when it’s dry. Spraying water on the mat or on your hand can do the trick for a couple minutes though but I’d definitely say if you’re not planning on using it for hot yoga strictly maybe this is not the mat you need. I love that it’s machine washable and that it doesn’t have a strong chemical smell like other mats. It’s kind of heavy but it’s totally worth it considering you don’t have to cary/buy a towel and also considering the thickness of it. It offers great support.

This mat is, hands down, the best yoga mat I’ve ever had. The grip is amazing, I haven’t slipped once, even slightly. I also haven’t needed to spray it at all when my hands and feet are dry. I’m very impressed and I highly recommend it. It’s quickly become my favourite yoga mat.

I practice bikram yoga once or twice a week and I can not be more pleased with this yoga mat, it is heavier than regular mats but the weight is barely noticeable and I have not experienced any of the issues that other people mention : it doesn’t get slippery and it remains flat. In terms of amount of sweat, I would say I’m a 6 in a scale from 1 to 10 so maybe that’s why it works so well for me.

I’ve had my Yvonne mat for over a year, and it’s held up better than any of the higher-priced, big name yoga mats. I do hot yoga daily, and unlike other brands, it has not developed worn areas and none of the top layer has flaked off. I give it a good wipe down with water or diluted essential oil after class, and I never roll the mat. I fold it loosely, keep it in the backseat of my car, and it dries out overnight with no lingering odor. Once in a while, I’ll rinse it down well in the shower and hang it out in the sun.

Mat seems very durable and I love the strap that comes with it which makes it very portable and easy to carry. My only complaint is the colors aren’t as vibrant as I was hoping for from the pictures.

I just received the combo mat so I can’t comment on how easy it is to clean, but I will definitely test it out in the washing machine after using it and then post a picture of it after washing it to see if it falls apart or wrecks my washing machine.What I can say is that it is visually stunning. The colours are absolutely beautiful and I love the bag and the hand towel from the same company.My daughter wanted to sleep on the yoga mat because the surface is so soft and soothing.

It’s beautiful, and the quality is very nice! It looks exactly like the photos. The bottom layer is a nice, thick rubber. The top layer is a soft fabric-y material. I do hot yoga 2-3 times/week, and I like this much better than throwing a towel over a regular mat. My feet don’t slide on this like they did before in triangle pose and a couple of those other poses. I’m afraid to put it in the washer, though, because I don’t know how it would hold up. I washed an old rubber mat in the washer once before, and it tore. So I’m playing it safe and rinsing this in the shower after every hot yoga class. Then I just hang it over the shower curtain rod to dry. So far so good!

Love this yoga mat & it’s cool design..my only issue was the smell..I’m sure that’ll improve with usage or mayb I should just wash as directed to get rid of the smell!
